The Freetown of Christiania experienced in the end of the 1970s how the police used massive amount of energy, time and ressources on hunting hash dealers in stead of trying to get to the people dealing with hard drugs. In October 1979 Folkebevægelsen mod hårde stoffer (eng: “The peoples movement against hard drugs”) after a public hearing started a physical blockade against hard drugs in Christiania. But as is says on the backside of the music album “junkies are human beings, neighbours and friends”. The people who got into trouble during the blockade, where offered help to get clean. The Album was sold to raise money for the group in Christiania that helped people get treatment to get out of their dependency on hard drugs.
